How to PhaseNEXT

The Pivot Plan includes all of the necessary elements to guide you through the Pivot Points of midlife.

Keys for success in making life changes:

  • An evaluation process

  • A community of peers and mentors

  • Resources and information

  • A season of intentionality

Through our Programs and Resources, PhaseNEXT will provide you the tools, insight and instruction you need to work through each step of the Pivot Process.

The Pivot Process

All transitions require change, but you may not have been through anything like this before. One of the biggest questions you may have is, "Where do I start and what do I do?" To make the necessary changes at each of the Pivot Points, you will need to engage in a three-step process:

  1. Assess

  2. Adjust

  3. Act

Through our Programs and Resources, PhaseNEXT will provide you the tools, insight and instruction you need to work through each step of this Pivot Process.

Guides and Peers

Pivoting is not simply a practical exercise. It is also an emotional journey--some may even say "roller coaster." You should not go through this journey alone. Having Guides to lead you and friends to accompany you will bring encouragement, support and joy to this difficult process.

You can join this community of peers, mentors and coaches by participating in one of our Pivot Programs.

Resources

Finding the resources and information you need can be overwhelming. On our Resources and Blog pages, we have curated the best information we can find on each of the Pivot Points. Every month, we send subscribers an email with ideas, book reviews and new resources to help you on the way. By following us on Twitter and Facebook, you will receive daily links to articles, videos and other helpful and encouraging information.

Pivot Programs:

All of the other elements are brought together through the various programs of PhaseNEXT:

Workshops

Workshops focus on a single Pivot Point. Primarily offered through local churches, PhaseNEXT Workshops provide an engaging and informative platform for participants to gain information, develop tools, connect with mentors, and build relationships.

Small Group Studies

These groups are intended to grow out of Workshops. Small Group discussions are led by trained guides and will dive deep into the Biblical truths most relevant to specific Pivot Points. With these materials, you will study Scripture, engage in personal reflection, and have meaningful conversation with your peers.

Weekend Retreats

This special event is built for couples and addresses all four of the Pivot Points. During this get-away retreat experience, participants will

  • Focus on the mindset changes that are necessary for a successful pivot

    1. Engage in reflection and thought exercises, both alone and as couples

    2. Participate in deep conversations with other couples about where you are, where you want to go, and the challenges you face

    3. Play and have fun together
